To reset your annual chapter points to zero, you must register one chapter team page each membership year. Follow these easy steps:

1. REGISTER your chapter's team page.

  • We recommend your chapter advisor registers your team page. If a student leader will be registering, we recommend using the advisor's email to keep it consistent year-over-year.
  • If you have registered a chapter team page in the past, log in to your existing account first. If this is your first time, create your new account and continue to the next step.
  • There should be only ONE team page per chapter.
  • When registering the chapter team page, each advisor/team captain must select one option regarding the chapter's plan to add individuals to the NMDP RegistrySM and/or pre-registry:
    • My chapter will add people to the registry with an EXISTING NMDP Join Keyword.
    • My chapter will add people to the registry and we NEED an NMDP Join Keyword.
    • My chapter will not recruit this year.
  • Once your chapter team page is registered, the advisor/team captain will receive follow-up emails with more information. If you are adding people to the registry, a separate email will confirm your join keyword for the new school/membership year and include your next steps.

2. CUSTOMIZE your chapter's team page.

  • Add a profile or banner image, logos, photos, videos and more! 
  • Download the user guide to learn more about this platform and how to optimize your fundraising.
  • To ensure your chapter earns points for adding people to the donor registry, make sure to replace the general join keyword on your team page story with your chapter's join keyword:

3. SHARE your chapter's team page.

  • Start sharing your chapter's team page and start receiving donations directly to the page! If you have your join keyword updated on your page, someone can order a swab kit to be mailed to them from the pageā€”and your chapter will get the credit.
  • NOTE: If you use Instagram to share your chapter's team page, make sure to add your link to your bio. If you add the Instagram "donate" button to any post, we won't be able to track donations to your chapter's efforts.

4. REACH OUT to your local NMDP representative.

  • Your local NMDP representative's contact information will be included in the confirmation email for your Join Keyword request. Reach out to them to schedule training to host swabbing events.  
  • If you did not request a Join Keyword, or if you don't know your local representative, contact us at hosa@nmdp.org.

Earn your NMDP honor cords!

 

  1. Create an account in the NMDP Volunteer Portal
  2. Enter your expected graduation date
  3. Record at least 20 cumulative volunteer hours for NMDP
  4. Confirm your mailing address

Honor cords will ship approximately mid-April for May graduations and mid-May for June graduations. Reach out to HOSA@nmdp.org with any questions!
